Privacy and cookies
Notice under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), covering website navigation and enquiries submitted to 8&partners.
1. Controller and contact details
8 & partners s.r.l., Corso XX Settembre 29, 21052 Busto Arsizio (VA), Italy, VAT no. 02730520125. For privacy information or to exercise your rights: salvatore.ottana@8partners.it, phone +39 0331 670669.
2. Data collected and required information
If you voluntarily contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and the information you share to handle your enquiry. Providing information is optional, but we need the details required to respond. Please do not send health information, other special categories of data or unnecessary documents.
The hosting service may record technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser and request outcome for service operation and security. The website has no data collection form or message database.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Requests for proposals or professional services are handled to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Other enquiries are handled on the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to incoming communications (Article 6(1)(f)). Security, abuse prevention and establishing or defending legal claims rely on legitimate interests; compliance with legal obligations relies on Article 6(1)(c). Enquiry data is not used for newsletters or advertising campaigns.
4. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a professional relationship are kept in correspondence for no more than 12 months after the last contact, unless a documented need to protect legal rights requires longer retention. Where a professional relationship is established, relevant records are kept for the relationship and applicable statutory periods; accounting records are retained for 10 years. Technical logs are kept only as long as necessary for operation and security, according to hosting settings.
5. Recipients and transfers
Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and hosting, email and technical support providers, appointed as processors where Article 28 GDPR requires it, and by recipients where disclosure is legally required. Data is not made public. Where chosen services involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, transfers must comply with Articles 44–49 GDPR through adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. Information about providers, countries and safeguards can be requested from the controller.
6. Rights and complaints
Subject to Articles 15–22 GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority. There is no profiling or automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Cookies and external links
The website pages do not set cookies or use tracking tools. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, pixels, maps, videos or embedded third-party social components. Fonts are served locally.
The LinkedIn link opens an external website only when clicked; that provider’s privacy notice then applies. Email and phone links let you contact us using the applications configured on your device.
